More than 400 participants including from Singapore, Indonesia & Mauritius attended the 2-day conference held at the Sime Darby Convention Centre, Bukit Kiara, Kuala Lumpur.

The Deputy Minister of Finance, YB Senator Dato’ Dr. Awang Adek Hussin officiated the event and attended the press conference.

Judging by the feedback so far, this inaugural Conference was a resounding success. The attendance and participation for this two-day event were very heartening, the knowledge shared and networking established were said to be very useful.

For that we wish to thank all our sponsors, speakers and participants.  Without their support, a conference like this just would not be possible. Many thanks are also due the Secretariat and staff of some sponsors who worked tirelessly till the end, thus ensuring an almost seamless event.

In moving forward, we are most delighted to explore the prospect of convening similar conferences on an annual basis that will certainly enhance the Conference’s stature and promote Malaysia as an international centre for Islamic wealth management.
